CTE Open House/Certification Night

Time: 5:30 - 7:00 pm - Open house to display projects done by students in teachers' class rooms
7:00 - 7:30 pm: Certificates being handed out to those students who earned CTE certifications this year (LGI room)

Light refreshments to follow after the ceremony.

2017 PSAT/SAT Summer Prep Course

Outstanding opportunity for all Exporter freshman, sophomore, junior students and parents.

The University of Houston-Clear Lake Center for Executive Education will be offering a summer 2017 PSAT/SAT Prep Course. It will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am - 12 noon at UHCL campus located at 2700 Bay Area Blvd Houston TX 77058.

This is 24 hours of fun, interactive, and well-structured prep course in which students will be actively participating during class and not just taking timed practice exams. There is a 30 minute parent/student meeting with the instructor on the first day of class to review and discuss the course syllabus and expectations. Only 25 spots are available for this course.

TSI TESTING AT BRAZOSPORT HIGH SCHOOL!
Brazosport High School will give the TSI test here on campus on Monday, February 16th and Tuesday, February 21st. If you are interested in taking the test here at school, please follow these steps:

You MUST have a BC Student ID#. (Apply online at www.applytexas.org to get ID#.)
You MUST complete the TSI Pre-Assessment Activity & Survey before you can be registered. Go to www.brazosport.edu/paa and click “Get Started.” (If you’ve done the PAA before, you don’t need to do it again.)
See me in the guidance office after completing steps 1 & 2 to reserve a spot in one of my test sessions.
