Jennifer Gonzalez, Principal
Jennifer Gonzalez is the principal at Brazosport High School. Prior to her appointment, she was a High School Science teacher and High School administrator at Brazoswood High School. She has been an Administrator in Brazosport ISD for eight years and has 17 years of educational experience. In her previous position, Mrs. Gonzalez taught 9th grade Biology and coached the wonderful sport of Tennis for seven fun-filled years.
Mrs. Gonzalez is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in December 2000 majoring in Science and earning a Teacher Certification in the Sciences. Starting in 2003, she attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake and earned her Masters of Education in Educational Leadership in December of 2005. Education is highly valued in Mrs. Gonzalez’s family as she is the 4th generation to earn a Master’s Degree.
Jennifer Gonzalez has two beautiful daughters, ages 6 and 7 and a handsome son, aged 15. Mrs. Gonzalez’s family resides in BISD and her husband has worked for DOW Chemical for 16 years. The area has been home to Mrs. Gonzalez for over 35 years and she is a proud product of BISD.
Mrs. Gonzalez firmly believes in serving the community of Freeport and especially her students here at Brazosport High School and she looks forward to serving as an Exporter for many years to come.
