Both Brazosport Bands Earn Sweepstakes at UIL Competition

Brazosport High School Bands hosted and competed in the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation. Participating bands ranged from intermediate through high school levels. 

Both Brazosport Symphonic Band and Concert Bands earned sweepstakes. To earn sweepstakes, a band must receive a first division rating on the prepared concert pieces, on a sight reading exercise and on their performance at the fall Marching Contest. This makes the 10th consecutive year (one year was canceled because of COVID) for the Brazosport Symphonic Band to receive this elite honor.
