Four swimmers from Brazosport High School, Senior Bailey Broom, Junior Sophie Stowers, Sophomore Averie Boswell, and Freshman Anna Broom qualified to compete in the Coastal Bend TISCA meet held this past weekend at Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi. Facing tough competition from 15 other teams, the 200 Freestyle Relay team earned an impressive 4th-place finish.
Sophie Stowers not only set a new Brazosport High School record in the 500 Freestyle with a remarkable time of 5:35.82 but also claimed 1st place in the event.
They will now join the rest of their teammates in the District 12-4A Swimming and Diving Championships in El Campo on Friday, January 17th.
