On Saturday at the Lamar Consolidated ISD Natatorium in Rosenberg, the Brazosport High School Girls advanced to the Regional Meet. The next round of competition is the 7-5A Regional Swim Meet Friday and Saturday, February 3-4, 2017 again at the LCISD Natatorium in Rosenberg. Friday is the Prelims and the top 16 teams will qualify for Saturday Finals.
The girls include: Cameron Santiago, Celinda Gomez, Alyssa Stephenson, Ahna Hunter, Elizabeth Espinoza and Gentry Wessman.
Another special stop for the team on their way to the district meet was to the David Scott Stephenson Benefit at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds. The team wanted to show their support for the family so they made the surprise visit. T-Shirts were made to show the team’s support for the family and were worn to the benefit and district meet.
This truly is an amazing way these BISD students are excelling not only in sports but in unity and compassion. We are proud of you!
