We are so excited for two of our outstanding Brazosport High HOSA students who have qualified for the Area Spring Leadership Conference in the category of Medical Assisting. Christine Leal and Janeilis Martinez will advance to the next level on their way to Nationals.
Hundreds of students from across the Houston area competed in HOSA events recently. Students took an online knowledge-based test on Medical Assisting and the top 10 scores from the area qualified to move on to compete in the skills portion of the competition. The Area Spring Conference will be January 14-15, 2022 at Turner High School in Pearland.
From Area in January, the top 3 scores in Medical Assisting will qualify for State and from state the top 3 scores will compete at the national level.
Congratulations to these students for their hard work and for sponsors Felicia Petrosky and Jenna Sedillo. Best wishes in January 2022.
