The Brazosport Exporter Swim Team participated in the District 26-5A Swimming and Diving Championships yesterday at the Lamar Consolidated ISD Natatorium.
The girls 200 Medley Relay of Valeria Esparza, Ahna Hunter, Diana Irlas and Angel Jaime finished in 6th place and qualified for the Region meet.
The girls 200 Freestyle Relay of Casandra Garcia, Elizabeth McElveen, Gentry Wessman and Elizabeth Espinoza finished in 5th place and qualified for the Region Meet
The boys 400 Freestyle Relay of Cameron Lanehart, Jeremy Jackson, Hayden Fisher and Oscar Segueda finished in 5th place and qualified for Region.
Our only senior, Alyssa Stephenson, finished in 8th place in the 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle.
The Region 7-5A Meet will be held Friday and Saturday, February 2-3 at the Lamar Consolidated ISD Natatorium. Prelims will be on Friday and the top 16 from each event will swim in the Region Finals on Saturday.
