Brazosport Robotics Team Places 9th in Their First FTC Robotics League Meet of the Year

The Brazosport Robotics Team competed this past Saturday at Palacios High School in the First Tech Challenge (FTC) robotic competition claiming 9th place. This was the first meet of the year for this outstanding group of Science students.
The project task for this competition was to autonomously descend from a “Martian Lander” and deploy a team mascot to claim the team’s territory. They had to detect, identify and sort objects representing minerals into a “cargo hold” and end the match by lifting the robot back onto the lander.
Congratulations to the Brazosport Team and their sponsor Mr. Demetrius Fountain.
