Congratulations to Troy Day - BISD Teacher Spotlight of the Week

Troy Day, an exceptional Chemistry Teacher at Brazosport High School, is the focus of the Teacher Spotlight Award. Mr. Day became a Chemistry Teacher because he fell in love with the subject in college and wanted to make high school chemistry an exciting and engaging experience for all students. Mrs. Gonzalez, the Brazosport High School principal, makes it clear that Mr. Day is meeting that goal because of the classroom environment that he has created which allows students to explore the world of Chemistry in a variety of ways and she sees the students enthusiastically involved in the lessons. This is Mr. Day’s fifteenth year with Brazosport ISD. Mr. Day is one of the many teachers in BISD who is setting the standard for educational excellence.
